Dear Parents, Students, Staff, and Friends of Sacred Heart Convent School,
Welcome to the online home of Sacred Heart Convent School, Obra. We are inspired by the teaching of Blessed Brigida of Jesus that “education is primarily an education of the heart, focusing on integrated personal formation, faith-life synthesis, and empowering young ones.” That insight guides our approach: we emphasise formation of the whole person — intellect, character, and compassion — so children grow into balanced, humane individuals.
Aligned with NEP 2020, our aim is to help each child reach their full potential while contributing to an equitable and just society. Learning here goes beyond examinations: we balance strong academics with life skills, co‑curricular opportunities, and character formation to develop intellectually capable, emotionally resilient, and socially responsible students.
Discipline underpins our work. We cultivate self‑discipline, respect, and responsibility as the foundations for personal growth and academic success. A safe, structured, and caring environment enables students to concentrate, persevere, and thrive.
We promote a collaborative spirit across classrooms and within the wider community. Teamwork, mutual respect, and effective communication guide our teaching and activities. Through group projects, service initiatives, sports, and the arts, students learn to cooperate, lead, and act with empathy.
Character formation is central to our mission. We emphasise honesty, compassion, responsibility, and humility so students become humane citizens who contribute positively to family, community, and nation.
