Republic Day was celebrated with patriotic zeal. The program commenced by hoisting of “Tricolor” by the Chief Guest Sr. Regi. This was followed by an impressive march past and P.T. display done by VII and VIII class students. Thereafter students gave inspiring speeches, sung patriotic group songs and performed group dance and enactment displaying the spirit of nationalism. Principal Sr. Regi congratulated the staff and the students on Republic Day. She said in her address that Republic Day reminds us of countless sacrifices of our freedom fighters to make India a sovereign Republic. The occasion calls for every Indian to practice their duties towards our nation. To make the occasion memorable, our students went to Gandhi Maidan to take part in the inter-school Republic Day event program. They gave a meaningful performance.
