Description:
The day of 15th August brought itself with dual happiness. It was the day when Independence Day and Rakshabandhan came together. The morning was filled with the spirit of patriotism and school was ready to celebrate 73rd Independence Day. Chief Gusset Sr. Regi Joseph hoisted the flag “Tricolor” and took the salute of the marching colors of different squads. This was followed by Independence Day program conferred of dance songs speeches, mono act and mime act. All the performances were filled with patriotic fervor and the spirit of national. After the program sweets and chocolates were distributed to the children. Sr. Regi in her address to the school wished everyone Happy Independence Day and Rakshabandhan too. She urged the students to understand the value of our hard-earned Independence. She also explained the real meaning of Rakshabandhan. To feel their beautiful relation of brother and sister, a heart touching song was sung by Mr. Manjit and Mr. Amit at the end of the assembly.
