Description:
The school celebrated “Swachhata Pakhawada” from 1st to 15th of September with great enthusiasm and participating spirit. The inauguration of the program was done on 2nd September as September 1st was a holiday. The event started with the oath-taking by Principal Sr. Regi, Manager Sr. Nirmala, and teachers and the students. The students emphasized the importance of cleanness and elaborated the message through their speeches, plays, and songs. Teachers also took an active part in the campaign by preparing banners and posters on the theme “Clean India”. Students of class IX and X made a Swachhata Chain outside the school campus and tried to motivate the people by catching slogans. During the whole Pakhawada, children from different classes arranged special assemblies presenting meaningful programs like making dustbins by waste things and making cloth bags with used T-shirts and pants. The students of class 7th presented a beautiful Nukkad Natak and gave the message of cleanliness to everyone. Debate, painting and essay writing competition on 15th of Sept. “Swachhata Pakhawada” conducted with the distribution of certificates to the winners of different competitions held. Principal Sr. Regi in her address to the school urged everyone not to use plastic and throw garbage here and there. She thanked the students and teachers for their active participation.
